The 180 men and women will meet on the 25th floor of the Capitol City Club. From this scenic view, we will pray all 46 counties. After breakfast and prayer, we will proceed to the steps of the State House for a time of praise and worship.
PHILIP'S NIGHTTIME RUN 2019
Lake Carolina | Town Center, 20 Helton Dr. | Columbia, SC 29229
Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. “Do you understand what you are reading?” Philip asked. “How can I,” he said, “unless someone explains it to me?” So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him...The eunuch asked Philip, “Tell me, please, who is the prophet talking about, himself or someone else?” Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus. Acts 8: 31-35
Philip's Nighttime Run is a community outreach event that promotes healthy hearts for both teachers and students! The 5K Run/Walk takes runners/walkers through beautiful Lake Carolina, pass the lake, uphill, through winding roads and ends at the Town Center. Water stations are positioned along the course with a First Aid tent at the finish line. At the finish line, participants will be announced with their official time. Participants will enjoy food, drinks, music, and awards.
Help! I have a Teenager-- August 5th - 2020
Ridge View High School | 4801 Hard Scrabble Rd. | Columbia, SC
May he send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion--Psalm 20:2
Do you have "this" teen--You know, the one who pushes every button within you? Or, do you have "that" teen: the one who is truly sent from God yet fear grips you, the parent, over the child's future? You will be in good company on this evening as our panel of parents walk you through these often tender and sometimes thunderous years.
Join us for a question and answer session where you can ask (or cry) over "this or that" teen. We look forward to encouraging you in your faith, building you up in hope, and teaching you how to walk with God through these tender and sometimes thunderous years.
